Frank Lloyd Wright is arguably the greatest ever American architect. In Frank Lloyd Wright: The Man Who Built America, we go on a journey to find out how he earned this title. We get to know his most well-known and loved buildings, how they were conceived and how they work. We also uncover his life, his family and how his Welsh roots shaped him and his work.

Part of the Resene Architecture & Design Film Festival 2019 - Frank Lloyd Wright: The Man Who Built America, is a wonderful film narrated by Welsh architect Jonathan Adams. The film is an architectural tour of just a few of the 500 buildings that Frank Lloyd Wright created in his illustrious career, but they are some of his most intriguing and defining masterpieces including Fallingwater, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, Unity Temple, The Ennis House and his personal homes Frank Lloyd Wright House, Taliesin and the famous Taliesin West.

It is a powerful story on an architect that has inspired many and is a must watch purely for the incredible footage of his most brilliant work.

ADNZ are hosting a 30-minute Q & A session after each film to discuss some of the movie’s themes, the success of Frank Lloyd Wright, organic architecture and the impression he has made on the world of architecture. The Q & A will be hosted by a ADNZ member.

ADNZ are proud to partner with Rialto Cinemas to support the Resene Architecture and Design Film Festival.
