After a glitzy weekend of award ceremonies, a handful of talented designers from the Auckland/Northland region walked away grasping a coveted 2014 Regional ADNZ | Resene Architectural Design Award.
The award ceremony was held on Friday night in Auckland and this year four regional awards were given to three incredible Auckland/Northland designers. The award winners were David Maurice of Ltd Architectural for his design Duncansby Road; Mark McLeay of Creative Arch for Davy Residence and Ian Butt of Harris Butt Architecture for Northland Port Corporation.
In addition, five highly commended awards were announced. They went to Arlott Residence by Mark McLeay of Creative Arch, Matakana Village Estate by Tim Cameron of 360 Build, Red Box Apartments by Mark McLeay of Resolution Architecture, Red Beach Home by Trevor Wilson of Architecture 37 and Pataua Residence by Mark McLeay & Mark Callander of Creative Arch.
ADNZ General Manager, Astrid Andersen, said the Auckland/Northland design awards are always a stand out.
"There is so much talent in this vibrant city - it is always wonderful to see what fantastic designs are showcased by all the entrants. Congratulations to all who entered".
